The Trunk screened at the following festivals: Film Noir Paris/Vincennes 2014 Festival, San Diego 2014 International Film Festival, Culver City 2014 Festival, and HollyShorts 2015 Festival.

The film won the Prix Du Scenario award (best screenplay) at Film Noir Festival.
